Re: February Pay With Tweet

Hey guys, I've seen a number of comments in the forums in the past few weeks about the fact that BackerClub makes money. To be honest, I've been greatly surprised by these comments and the implied accusation that this is somehow wrong. Here is my short answer: yes, BackerClub makes money...as does j...

Re: March April Private Lounge Feedback

OH! I forgot one super-important piece of info. We aren't going to just select 3 Secret Projects, but rather 1 Secret Project everyday! So, there will be a total of 35 Secret Projects by the time we do the drawing on May 1. Each one of these that you have commented on or backed will be eligible for ...

Re: March April Private Lounge Feedback

Great ideas guys! This is just the kind of feedback we were hoping for about the contest! So, we're going to revise it in some of the ways you've suggested. In a nutshell here are the revised rules: You'll get entries into the contest by based on the following: Comment on a project: 2 entries (all l...

Re: March April Private Lounge Feedback

I like the idea of choosing more Secret Projects. What do the rest of you think? Maybe 10 instead of 3?

Re: March April Private Lounge Feedback

I think that there should be a current maintained list of the projects that join between 3/27 and 4/30 to help BC members. Great, suggestion. I"m sure we can get something setup. It might take a few days but I don't see any reason this can't be done fairly soon. Thanks for suggesting is Isreal! Mar...

Re: March April Private Lounge Feedback

So the only way to get entries is to back the three mystery projects? Yes, you'll get entries based on the number of Secret Projects you happen to back. How will different lounge levels be utilized? Let's say you back all 3 Secret Projects and get 100 entries. No matter what level you are, you'll g...

March April Private Lounge Feedback

We just opened the Private Lounges again. This contest will be running through the end of April. Check it out and let us know what you think. :D We'd love to hear your feedback about this idea compared to the past things we've done with the Lounges. Do you like this more? Less? What other ideas do y...

Re: scammy projects

Hi all,

We appreciate very much your help in pointing out projects that you have concerns about. We have setup a form (http://backerclub.co/help-report.php) where you can easily report projects that you feel we should look into and provide the rationale. Thanks!

Re: Criteria for BackerClub Projects

Hi all, I'm sorry to hear your frustrations and can certainly sympathize a bit. Kickstarter has a similar policy for approving/rejecting projects. Their community guidelines really don't get very specific and when they don't approve a project there is no specific reason given or any real opportunity...
