Some adventure game campaigns in Nov 2014.
Adventure games helped make Kickstarter as popular as it is now. Here are some running campaigns this month. HM Spiffing is a space adventure in its final week with £7,000 to go to reach its £30,000 goal. The character models and animations are good on this one. There is a very British demo. Kelvin ...

Re: Impact Winter
I quickly skimmed the campaign and the data I have for it. The project reached 22.4% of its goal. £21,270 is about $33,500 USD. That funding goal of £95,000 was the equivalent of about $149,800 USD which is not small. Raising over 15% means a reboot should be at least considered at a better time in ...

There is now a similar discussion about The Black Glove on /r/Games because it too failed to reach its goal.

Re: Growing The Club Membership
phpBB can be reskinned with styles . It is a functional popular forum engine so I don't see a need to transition to another one. Members currently do not have forum avatars. In the future a badge displaying their stars could be used or the ability to upload their own images unlocked. This is low pri...

Some multiplayer games: OVERRIDE, Blackwake & Pocket Rumble.
Here are some multiplayer focussed video game projects. OVERRIDE has 4 players co-operating to control a giant mecha to defend a city. Player 1 is the torso thrusters, player 2 is the legs and the other two players are manipulating the arms. The graphics are very shiny. The minimum goal may be diffi...

Re: Spot360 | Illuminated, Reflective, & Fluorescent Dog Ves
The project creator delivered on a successfully funded project for glowing athletic gear in 2013. The prototype for dogs was even shown in a project update on that project.

Re: Kickstarter Videos
A quality video can be very important to a campaign convincing people to pledge. It is one way that backers assess how professional a project creators is and what they often go to first for information about what the project is actually about. It doesn't have to be fancy. What I'm looking for when t...

Animation projects: Cannon Busters, Go! Samurai and Urbance.
There are some strong Animation category projects happening right now on Kickstarter. Cannon Busters mixes hip-hop, fantasy adventure and androids. The pitch video has some great sample footage and the team has industry experience. Go! Samurai is about a wandering samurai Kei. The project creator wo...

Re: Laser Fury and Flamberge. Two 2D pixel art video games.
Laser Fury's developers decided to cancel and reboot in 2015 when a playable demo should be ready. http://i.imgur.com/VePlRCW.png Flamberge feels like the type of campaign that is worthy of receiving more backers. I've played through the demo 6 times now. The project creator just needs to add more c...

Re: H. P. Lovecraft: The Case of Charles Dexter Ward post-mo
I've added 2 more comments in that thread. When the early-bird tier is filled, the other following tiers often see increases in the growth rates. While still around the temptation to save money is too much for most backers who are looking at the lower priced tiers below $50. Do you think the creator...
