Just checked out my pie on Kickstarter and was a bit shocked to find that I have backed in all categories but five. The missing categories are; journalism, photography, dance, theater, and art. Most of projects are games though.

Welcome and I am also from Maryland. Kickstarter is an interesting form of addiction, or so I am finding.

I had the opportunity to check this out, and talk to the designer, at MAGFest this year. It looks like a good game and I have backed it.

I know the designer of Aether Magic and have to recommend it. One of his earlier games was selected as a Games Magazine game of the year.

About 85% of my backings are in the games category but I have a few spread among others.

Backers of Tiny Epic Galaxies will the opportunity to add both previously kickstarted games through backerkit (or pledgemanager I can't remember which they are using) after the campaign ends. The popularity of this project can, at least in part, be attributed to the creator being the Oatmeal. I wanted to back but the game just doesn't look good and I am not being drawn in by the hype.
