Re: Looking forward to 2015.

The new 2014 slideshow is up.

A big change for 2015 is Kickstarter switching to Stripe for processing payments.

Looking forward to 2015.

The last quarter of the year really slows down on Kickstarter. 2014 is almost over. With this slowdown there is more time to relax and think ahead to 2015. What are people looking forward to next year? I expect Kickstarter's staff are already working on another slideshow like they did for 2012 and 2...

Re: Animation projects: Cannon Busters, Go! Samurai and Urba

Here's an interesting animation project that has met its goal already: The Alchemist's Letter The Alchemist's Letter reached its $15,000 goal back near the end of November. It did not have much momentum after that. http://www.kicktraq.com/projects/485050482/the-alchemists-letter-a-spectacular-anima...

Re: Some adventure game campaigns in Nov 2014.

To Azimuth missed its goal by just $5,647 and a reboot in 2015 should get funded. The $10 tier introduces a copy of the game and has 105 backers. Here is something interesting: the $15 tier has 361 backers (256 more). That up-selling there impressed me at first, but then the thought occured that the...

Re: Hollow Knight and Crossing Souls.

Both campaigns hit their goals.

Hollow Knight ramped up its momentum a lot in its last week. The $25 tier was a great performing reward.

Crossing Souls made multiple modifications to its reward tiers over time to adapt.

Re: New Layout

The tab to view the list of backers on a project has disappeared. That is a feature I'm sad to see go.

Re: New Layout

This is one of the most drastic changes to the site I've experienced. I see its purpose is to try to have a cool transition between the main page, updates and comments. On Monday I noticed they added a new Tumblr button. Tuesday added the big format changes. There is the "Story, Updates, Comments" b...

The Keyboard Waffle Iron.

A waffle iron that makes waffles shaped like a computer keyboard launched this week. It is teasing a Black Friday deal with a project update. I like how the presentation includes keyboard shortcut references like " Shift + Breakfast ". Something to note is the project creator was a backer on the WOO...
