My animation team and I made a trailer for a show we would like a create—and would like to try kickstarter to raise money for the first episode. I read the best way to ensure success is to build a following beforehand and we haven't published regular content, so I'm thinking of making a landing page to collect emails... but not sure what kind of magnet to use to get good emails of people who might actually donate / how to get the landing page seen in the first place.

Or perhaps I'm thinking about this the wrong way? Haha, thanks for any tips!
