Submitting a Project to backerclub - What's up?

I'm really confused about the submission process. On the front page (non-member) I can access a form to submit but as a member I can't. I really don't get this. I can't submit the form because it says I'm already a member/so should I just do this with another email? I want to offer a perk for backerclub but I have no dashboard in settings/no submit for members. I've done everything except the post update. It says we will send template. When??? I'm ready now.

I think it's conflicting with my members that have backed that aren't backerclub to see I'm giving perks to a club that hasn't even backed me yet. I think this club would make more sense if the perks were more private within backerclub not on my post update. Right? I just want to submit my project. Thanks.

Don't know how to help with the BackerClub listing though I did back you. Looks like a great project and one that will keep you very, very busy.

Thanks Katrina. I guess I'll just do a post update - but I would think it unwise to put my perk in there (I'd imagine my perk for backerclub would be only inside their private site). Why isn't this setup to be automated (since the site robot already knows I've posted their link in my page/bio)???

Thanks for your back. I WANT to offer free girl scout cookies with anyone that backs $20 or more.

If you put a BackerClub reward on Kickstarter we'd all see it. I've backed. I wish Mark were more active on the forums so he'd stop in and answer questions like this and fix the problem. I'd post your project in the proper Kickstarter category letting members know what the special reward is.

Yep, post in the Kickstarter category and tell us all about it.

Girl Scout cookies! Do you have any of the gluten free ones?

Hi all! I'm very sorry for not having been more active lately in the forums. The site is growing by leaps and bounds and is consuming all my time in other ways. First off, if you need anything and want to get in touch with us the best way is to send a message to [email protected]. Both co-founders see this and will be able to get back to you quicker than in the forum.

About your questions about submitting. Essentially, the side is divided into two partitions...a side for members (which requires proof of number of backed projects) and a creator side (which requires a project submission). At the moment the database doesn't let you duplicate email addresses in both sides of the site, so if you want to submit a project, just use a different email address and the submission form. Thanks!

Members of BackerClub need their own "submit project" form from within the
group. Today I came across the 2nd member of the group trying to submit a
project who couldn't because she is already a member. We had a discussion
on Kickstarter after I backed her project. I gave her the admin email. I
suspect this will become more common as time passes. It doesn't make sense
to me that they need to create a new email address or email the admins in order to submit a
project.

It really doesn't make sense as if I became a creator I'd want the Kickstarter community to see that I have been around backing projects for a while and that I am a BackerClub member. If I have to use a different email for BackerClub will I also have to use that email for Kickstarter and thus lose the connection with my history?

Plus there is the simple matter of not wanting to have to track two BackerClub accounts.

I heard back and this is something they are working on but it's much more difficult than it seems.
