I refuse IGG as well, but I won't impose my choices on others. As for the club, I do see it misrepresent backer numbers unless BC is transparent and shows the number of backers as three categories, KS only, IGG only, and KS and IGG backers.

I would like to see the numbers separate in my profile just to keep them straight in my head - how crazy might I be going while I'm trying to cut way down - ya know? LOL

I'm over 800 KS projects and ~50 IGG projects. I thought BC might have added a new rank while they were messing around with things but 7 stars is still high as can go and I made that from BC feeding my addiction a couple months ago.

You're right. We need another rank.

1 Start though 7 Stars and "Tasha" for the eighth, since nobody will ever catch you!

Supposedly there were a few 7 star members when I joined (unless advertising was a lie). I would expect a few others to have crossed the 7 star line as they were close back when they first joined - Lobster for example. But none of them stayed active on the forums. There could be a number of members with large numbers of projects under their belts who never use the forums. Most members don't use the forums.

Based on views most members aren't reading the competition thread this much which is one of the highest read threads ever - but it hasn't had 2k views - not even close. I've seen whose active change a few times. Which might be why I've stayed at ~30% of number of posts/comments on the forum pretty much within a couple weeks of joining.

Be that as it may, I still think you're in a class by yourself!

Tasha is definitely unique :D

I am in and out as far as how active in the forums I am depending on what life is throwing at me. Regardless of forum activity I am spending way too much time and money on KS related activity.

I have found that conversing with creators and helping out on projects is also addictive not just backing them.

Ah well.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong.... Most of my conversing and helping so far seems to be after an ill thought out project fails to fund, encouraging them to try again and giving advice for the relaunch.

Am I to understand that you two have found Creator's that are able to be helped DURING the initial campaign?

It very much depends on the creator. Some are very open to suggestions from backers and appreciate an experienced backer providing feedback. Others do not want to hear from us ever. Yes, some campaigns benefit from input early enough to help during their campaign, others you will not find soon enough but can help to make a successful relaunch. Some the issues are so significant that they work out it is better to cancel and relaunch rather than try to limp along.
