Backerclub bonus guidelines

Are there any guidelines or restrictions on the backerclub bonus offered?

I am having problems with "Being told the exact time it's launching" as the backerclub "bonus". That's only a bonus for anyone who happened to notice it in the drafts section (and you could just sign up to be notified anyway). Once it launches it becomes irrelevant.

A lot of the bonuses haven't interested me (I don't need a t-shirt and I don't want to pledge that much), but they at least seemed like the creator had given it some thought. This...I'm not seeing it as a bonus, merely the description of the notify feature, and strikes me as very odd that it was approved.

Hey all,

I asked Mark, one of the cofounders if there was any guidelines to projects for the perk offer. He mentioned that BC doesnt have any specific rules for them though they consult with them to make sure their special reward makes sense. In general they encourage them to be creative and generous.
