Has anyone else seen that Etsy is attempting to enter the crowdfunding space?

One of the KS Creators that I have backed on multiple campaigns sent out an email about their new campaign on Fund on Etsy. Here is there comment about using Fund on Etsy: "Our friends at Etsy invited us to take part in their new crowd funding platform Fund on Etsy, a new way for the Etsy maker community introduce new products ...and we're thrilled to be a part of their launch!"

To access Fund on Etsy go to Etsy.com, then click on the "Browse" menu and then click on Fund on Etsy. They haven't included a link to that portion of their site in their website footer yet.
