Hi everyone,

I'm pretty new here and I've just managed to recruit my first project :D

However, I've tried searching everywhere with no luck so I'll try here: can someone point me where I can find instructions on how to redeem BackerBucks earned?

Thanks a lot in advance, happy crowdfunding everyone!

Thanks Eric. I did it but it's not actually explained how to redeem them.

However I've email the team and got an answer that it's worth sharing for all newcomers:

"You can withdraw BackerBucks to a Paypal account anytime you have more than $50. Please just send us an email at [email protected] with your Paypal address whenever you want to withdraw."

Cheers,
C.

thanks for sharing what you learned! curious if paypal is the only option now as this article CapBludd shared in another thread (which, honestly has been one of the few sources of considerable information about how the club operates i've found) describes a different method...

Can you explain the “BackerBucks” concept and how it ties to the site?

BackerBucks translate into cash (US Dollar equivalent) that the members of the site can use for backing projects they love on Kickstarter. We are actually still in process in deciding how best to distribute this and let members “spend” the BackerBucks they earn. Money will be able to be earned in many ways on the site as we move forward. At present the most common way BackerBucks are earned is in the private lounges.

The only way to redeem backerbucks is through a payout via paypal, at least at this point.
Backerbucks have been available through referrals, lounges, and contests. They are just a way to reward members for backing projects and bringing in new members and creators.
