Adding another Kickstarter profile

My Kickstarter account, which is linked to my current BackerClub account, won't allow me to back any projects. I now opened up a new Kickstarter account and tried to link my current BackerClub account to the new Kickstarter account. Will it work? Coz now signing up as a new BackerClub need to pay $29, right? Thanks.
