Under Sky is for backers who want more than “just a lamp.” If the team delivers on build quality and lighting performance, this could be a standout desk centerpiece. Best suited for early adopters comfortable backing ambitious, design-led hardware.

Clear vision, strong design language, and thoughtful lighting science. Backer traction is solid, but this is still a first-time delivery with a long runway to May 2026.

The satellite-wing concept is genuinely distinctive and mechanically elegant. CNC aluminum, multi-axis wings, and the clock display elevate it far beyond typical desk lamps. Art Edition details are niche but beautifully integrated.

Risks are openly acknowledged, which we like. However, supply chain complexity, custom LEDs, and premium materials add fulfillment pressure. Would love to see more detail on manufacturing partners and QC plans.

At $299–$349 early bird (vs. $589–$679 MSRP), the value is compelling for a premium, feature-rich lamp. Not cheap—but priced fairly for CNC metal, full-spectrum lighting, and unique mechanics. Feels strongest for design-forward desks and long-hour users.
