This is BESIDAR's first campaign, from a team built around portable, long-lasting board games. No track record yet, but the prototype shown is polished and the engineering thinking is obvious.
This is the star of the show. Magnetic anti-drop pieces plus a mechanical interlocking mechanism let the metal board fold infinitely, and it flips between chess, Go, Othello, Gomoku and more. Slim, tactile, and genuinely fun to fidget with.
Built from metal for the long haul, it is designed to outlast flimsy travel sets, and it openly discloses limited AI use on the page. A durable, keep-it-for-years object rather than disposable plastic.
The Super Early Bird is $69 for a full set (two metal boards, 64 pieces, storage bag), about half the roughly $129 reference price. There is also a $55 special edition and a $39 entry tier to ease people in.
