Not a novel product and is an existing company, so it appears likely to deliver. But it is their first campaign, so that raises question
Not much ingenuity. It is making another of the same product that already exists. It looks like a quality scooter, with damping, a good interface, and portability, but overall unimpressive.
Lithium batteries, especially in scooters and hoverboards, are notorious for combusting. Moreover, they consume resources and cause unnecessary pollution, making something already on the market; it's as if I boasted about making a wheel and making a Kickstarter campaign out of it. They promise to donate $1 for every backer, which comes out to a measly $400. It would be more environmentally responsible to walk or use public transport. On top of that, it can cause remarkable injuries because of a lack of safety and physical limitations (compared to the physics of a bike). It is not worth the financial or environmental cost, nor would it save you much time or energy.
