I am not sure about this one. Could be fake, or it could have development problems. I wouldn't risk it personally.

If this works well, this could help improve the future of knives, but I don't think the blade style is particularly good for a super high tech knife.

Electronics are not good for the environment.

Quite expensive.

Lots to go wrong here

Not sure this is the right approach to the kitchen knife problem

Not a focus

Expensive, probably better to buy a premium chef's knife and sharpen it regularly

First time project, but funding goal is real and seems to have support.

Fascinating idea.

Does not seem to be a focus.

Little high.

Not sure the style of blade needs to be a powered up high tech blade. I would have thought a chiefs knife would be a better idea, but not sure how/if the tech can scale like that.

To high price…and blade is to small. Such a sharp knife it should be bigger and for cuting a meat…

Oh, also. Knife shape.  You relly should have gone for a chefs knifes shape rather then the pairing knife profile.  It would just be more useful.

Ps. I do want this to work ! I love the innovation.  I would love this to be a thing… I am just un convinced.

Concerned about wearing out…. If it is cutting 50k times how fast will the blade dull? How many re-sharpingings until that tinny pairing knife is gone?

I'm not sold ultrasonic would make a good kitchen knife… also my kitchen is a rough place… how will that tech stand up after it is dropped a half dozen times,  falls in a sink, or a pot of watter?  How will the steal sharpen?
