How Does it Work?

LapLok works as an easy-on, easy-off solution.

1. Install a semi-permanent adhesive to your laptop base
2. Let that sit for 24 hours
3. Go out to work wherever you want
4. Find a good place to sit and swing out the adhesive mounting arm over the table
5. Put the arm in the mouth of the LapLok device, adjust the device to the height of the table
6. Press the [secure] button and consider your laptop secure
7. When you’re done for the day, enter your PIN and unlock the device
8. Store it in your bag for the next day

The Team Behind LapLok

 

LapLok is the brainchild of father-son duo Paul & Ryan Angott who have secured a $20,000 grant from the state of MI. They’ve also self-funded $250,000 into product design and development and 4 years of their lives to create LapLok.
