How do you feed? How much do you feed?  

 

 

Conventional kibble is a well-known culprit for causing chronic diseases in our dogs. Our dogs can’t tell between what’s healthy and not, so it’s up to us to make a choice on what is ACTUALLY GOOD for them.

1. Is TCH safe for my dog?

 Answer: Absolutely! Charmy is working with Ph.D. nutritionists from the University of Guelph to ensure that TCH is safe and beneficial for our canines. We are formulating our recipe with their help and guidance. 

 

2. Where are you sourcing your ingredients from?

 Answer: We know the importance of using the highest quality ingredients as dedicated pet parents. All proteins we are using will be sourced sustainably and ethically from North American farmers and fishers. As well as the organic fruits and veggies. This will roughly be 99% of the entire formula. 

Due to unavailability of certain TCH (Traditional Chinese Herbs) in North America, a few of the ones we will use (goji berry, astragalus root..) will need to be sourced from Mainland China. We assure you to hold these herbs to the highest quality standards, ensuring they are sourced from safe and reliable facilities.This will roughly be 0.5-1% of the entire formula.

 

3 What are Traditional Chinese Herbs?

 Answer: Traditional Chinese Herbs (TCH) come from Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM), a set of medical practices used in East Asia for more than 5000 years. It uses food therapy to address the imbalance of energy in the body. Herbs such as goji berry, ginseng and ginger have been used and shown to improve overall health in model species.

 

4. What if my dog doesn't like the food?

 Answer: The Charmy team wants you and your dog(s) to be 100% satisfied, so if your furry one doesn’t like the food, we will be happy to replace the product or refund your money to you. 

 

5. When will orders be shipped?

 Answer: We estimate the fulfillment of rewards and shipping of “When East Meets West” shipping to start in September 2022. However, in case of any change in this fulfillment date, we promise to keep our backers updated frequently!

 

6. Do we meet AAFCO guidelines?

 Answer: Charmy's "When East Meets West" will meet and exceed AAFCO guidelines.

 

7. What's the shelf life?

  Answer: The official "best before" date is 2 years. Because this is a freeze-dried product, it can last much longer than 2 years if stored in the fridge. 

 

 What’s Charmy’s story? Why are we doing this? 

We started in 2020 after Zach, our founder, experienced a tragedy with the passing of his family Golden Retriever, Kimi due to multiple chronic conditions.

He realized the importance of proper nutrition in the longevity of our canine friends. Since the start, Charmy has had one singular mission; to help our dogs live longer, happier and healthier lives.
