This is Francisco Molina's first Kickstarter project, so there is no delivery track record to lean on yet. What he does bring is 16 years as a senior industrial designer across hand tools, PPE, medical devices, and consumer hardware. His risks section is refreshingly specific, naming his manufacturing partner relationship, tolerance challenges, and unit by unit inspection before anything ships.
Five tools hide inside a 53.5mm disc that is thinner than a stack of coins at just 8.7mm deep. Rotate the center and you get a box cutter, bottle opener, paper and cardboard cutter, paint can opener, and string cutter, with no folding hinges to snap. Hardened 3Cr13 stainless at 48 to 50 HRC, CNC machined aluminum or titanium covers, a safety lock, a belt clip, and yes, it spins like a very capable fidget.
The environmental pitch is built on longevity rather than offsets, and honestly, a tool with one moving part and no weak points is a real answer to disposable box cutters. Molina writes in first person about what could go wrong, which is rarer than it should be. We would love to see packaging and sourcing details spelled out with the same clarity as the tolerances.
Aluminum singles open at $45 and climb through tiered pricing toward $63, so earlier backers get meaningfully more tool per dollar. Duo packs land in the $79 to $119 range, and a titanium upgrade add on swaps the aluminum covers for CNC machined TC4 if you want the flex. For a CNC machined EDC piece with stainless internals, that is aggressive pricing. Estimated delivery is January 2027.
