This is DocCheck Steam's first Kickstarter, backed by a well-known medical community in Cologne. They say the hardware design is final and production-ready, and the companion app is in its last round of development. Professionals in the DocCheck Area51 community helped develop and test it.

Squeeze turns a grip test into four measurements: max strength, reps, endurance, and left vs. right balance. It's compact and wireless, so the kind of data you'd get in a clinic can be tracked at home. After many prototype rounds, it looks clean, modern and easy to use.

The housing is 3D printed from durable PA12, and leftover material is recycled back into the process. They say plainly that it has no medical regulatory approval and that they're still reviewing regulations. They also disclose that the campaign video was made with AI and explain how they did it.

Early Bird is €200 (about $230), and the standard pledge is €250 retail. A Double Pack for €450 works well for couples, trainers or clinics. Shipping is charged separately, so budget a little extra.
