The K1 brings genuine 5-axis capability to a desktop footprint at a fraction of industrial pricing, and the campaign backs it with real validation work. If you make things and have been waiting for 5-axis to come within reach, this is the one to watch.

This is InfiMaker's first Kickstarter, so there's no track record to lean on yet. They're paired with Vinyl, an official Kickstarter Expert Partner with a long run of major hardware launches behind them. Core systems have already cleared functional validation, and the risk plan names real suppliers, real inspection steps, and real logistics partners.

True 5-axis simultaneous motion on a desktop machine is the headline, and it delivers: 0.01mm precision, 1500W spindle, 20,000 RPM. The 6-slot automatic tool changer, ruby auto-probe, and RTCP compensation are features you normally see on machines that need their own room. InfiStudio AI software, remote monitoring, and job resume make it feel like a modern connected tool instead of a stubborn shop appliance.

The risks section is refreshingly specific about manufacturing, sourcing, quality control, and shipping rather than hand-waving. Warranty coverage, dedicated support, and customs plus VAT handled worldwide are all spelled out up front. An explicit sustainability or materials commitment is the one piece missing from an otherwise transparent campaign.

Super Early Bird pricing starts at US$5,199 for the K1 alone, roughly 40% off the $8,599 retail figure. The all-in-one bundle at US$5,999 packs ten items, and the InfiFlow bundle sits between at US$5,799. There's even a two-machine tier at US$9,559 for shops that want redundancy, and warranty plus duties are baked in rather than tacked on.
