This is MOSSLAB's third Kickstarter, following Moss Air and Moss Echo. They're using the same manufacturing partners as those two and have lined up multiple suppliers for key parts. Moss Air won a CES Innovation Award and an iF Design Award, so this team knows how to finish a product.
Hexagon panels of 100% real moss snap onto a magnetic HexaLock mount, and you can rearrange them in seconds. Light panels add ambient glow that adjusts to the room automatically, and Wood panels add warm contrast. It needs no direct sunlight, just an occasional misting, and the moss absorbs some sound too.
The sound absorption claims come from independent testing at KCL, an accredited lab. They say plainly which campaign images used AI and that the product itself didn't. Shipping, duties and the app status (iOS out, Android still coming) are all spelled out.
The Basic Starter Pack (3 panels) is $69 to $79, against a $90 MSRP. The Light Starter Pack runs $119 to $139 (MSRP $185), and the 15-piece Signature Styling set is $369 to $399 (MSRP $630). Shipping is charged separately, about $25 to $35 for US orders.
