This is Freecastle's third Kickstarter, so they know how to run a campaign and ship to backers. They're based in Salt Lake City, and they've built a buffer into their delivery timeline. Apparel is their specialty, and it shows in how clearly the project is laid out.
With 500+ size combinations, you finally get sleeves, waist and inseam that all fit at the same time. The 4-way stretch fabric resists wrinkles, stains and water, and it wicks moisture. You get 12 pockets across the blazer and pants, including a hidden phone pocket and zippered security pockets.
The water- and stain-resistant finish is fully PFC and PFAS-free. Freecastle makes small batches based on the sizes backers order, so there's less overproduction. Packaging is recycled material, and shipping goes through DHL, which offsets its carbon footprint.
Pledges start at $169 for the blazer and $269 for the full suit. Multi-packs bring it down further, with 2 suits for $499 or 3 for $699. For a suit that nearly fits like it was made for you and can go straight into a carry-on, that's a solid price.
