This is Lumacore's first Kickstarter, but the team behind it already sells its AlphaGlass solar modules through DigiKey and Amazon. Three prototype generations, a patent filing and CES demos in 2025 and 2026 show plenty of groundwork. A planned certification set covering UL, UN 38.3 and Qi2 adds reassurance for a first-time creator.

A pocket-size 5,000mAh Qi2 bank whose perovskite face tops it up from ordinary indoor light. Custom charge tracking for indoor and outdoor light shows real engineering, not a solar panel glued on. An aluminum frame, recessed USB-C and a 1.2 m drop rating make it feel built for everyday carry.

The AI disclosure is clear: AI is used only for backgrounds, and the product itself is never generated. The team says AlphaGlass takes less energy and creates less waste to make than silicon. REACH and RoHS compliance and a plain-spoken risks section round it out.

Early Bird is $89, Standard is $99, and the Duo bundle is $159 for two. That's a fair price for a premium Qi2 bank that charges itself. The current batch ships to the US only, and shipping is added after the campaign.
