The design

The Drivr2L may have been a while coming but we think it had been worth the wait. A good design isn't rushed and we wanted to produce something of high quality that could really be used regularly and effectively. So, more than a year after first coming up with the concept, we are confident it is the perfect companion for the practical person looking for real tools combined into an unique design.

The metal karabiner is machined from tough 303 stainless steel, whereas the body, which has been ergonomically designed to aid comfort in the tool’s use, is multi-jet-fusion printed using PA12 (Nylon 12). PA12 is known for its toughness, tensile strength, impact strength and ability to flex without fracture, and is typically used by injection moulders due to these mechanical properties which provide a robust structure. The printing process produces a textured finish which is aesthetically pleasing and excellent for providing additional grip. 

The driver system uses neodymium magnets to retain the screwdriver bits in the 1/4 inch socket and the detachable 4 x driver bit holder, so there is a reduced chance of losing parts even if dropped. The safety blade is a widely available Jakar craft blade - it is super sharp and is easily removed by undoing two retainer screws when it is time to replace it. All this in a compact, yet usable size of 84mm x 43mm x 20mm (approx 3.3” x 1.7” x 0.8”), a perfect carry for your pocket.
